YouTube Made Me Buy It!

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world.

As you can see by the title, today's post is a popular post/video idea for many in the beauty community, so many have done a post or video of this and I love reading and watching them. It made me look into my beauty stash and realise I have a lot of products I bought because of Beauty YouTubers so I thought I'd show you some and what I think of them.

I'm literally going to start with the first products I can 100% remember buying because most Beauty YouTubers were using, loved and were talking about them. At the time of buying these, they were cult favourites back a couple years ago, I don't really see them in blog posts or YouTube videos anymore. The products I'm talking about are Aussie hair products, everyone and their mother (literally) were using this brand! If you remember this brand, used their products or even maybe still do, let me know in the comments what products they are. The products I always used were Miracle Moist Shampoo and Conditioner, 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Conditioner and the Miracle Recharge Leave-In Conditioner Take The Heat. I re-purchased these very items many, many times and I'm not going to lie, it's only this year where I've branched out and used different products for my hair as I'd used these for so long. They worked very nicely for my hair, the Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner really did help turn my hair around a few years ago after I started to really take care of my hair. My hair was damaged from over dying and heat, which these helped to put the moisture and life back in my hair, along with the Reconstructor Conditioner this was gem of a deep conditioner I swore by it. The Leave-In Conditioner Spray I only literally stopped using a month ago, I'd tried a couple different sprays before but I always went back to this one until I bought one from Salon International last month, just in time as my trusty Aussie spray was running out.

My next product is also a hair care product and that is the Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment, this is so good, I still have a pot of this in my hair product collection. I've re-purchased this about 3 times I think, it lasts for quite a while considering the pot isn't huge as a little goes a very long way. After using this my hair feels like silk but I haven't used it in a while simply because I'm too lazy.

The next few products are Make-Up from the same brand, which is the well-loved Benefit. The products I have are the Hoola Bronzer, Porefessional Primer and the They're Real Mascara. These are the only products I've tried from Benefit so far, I know... WHAT?! HOW?! WHY?! I have been meaning to buy more products from them but I don't know really, I just haven't got round to it. I love all 3 of these products, Hoola is my favourite out of the 3! It literally is perfect for contouring, I always use it when I contour and bronze it's beautiful, I would recommend it to everyone! I use the Porefessional Primer before applying foundation every time, I find it really does smooth my skin and cover my pores. And lastly the They're Real Mascara, I've started to use a bit more lately, I use this when I want to add length to my lashes and to separate them as it's perfect for doing so.

I hope you liked this post. If you have tried and use any of these products then please feel free to leave comments below telling me whether you like them or not, and feel free to check out my social media accounts, linked below. Thank You. MWAH!

My Current Hair Care Routine

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world.

Today's post I finally have my updated hair care routine, that I mentioned I'd be doing in my Salon International Haul as soon as I've tested the products well and long enough to know if I like them.

My last hair care routine post was in March 2015, so that was 20 months ago, and I've changed out my products a couple times since then, but not all the products. Now I have all new products, I've finally swapped out the products I've used forever for all new, which I am loving!

I'm starting with Shampoo and Conditioner, I always like to use 2 different shampoo's and conditioners, that cater to different needs for my hair. My main shampoo and conditioner I use are the Osmo Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner. Now my hair is thin and fine, but I have lots of hair if that makes sense, it's not thick by all means so it's a little flat and these products give it that oomph it needs and I'm loving it. The second Shampoo I use is the Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo, it tones the brassy and yellow tones to make them more blonde and silver, the product looks scary as it's bright purple. I usually wash my hair with the Osmo shampoo first, rinse then use this toning shampoo after as I like to leave it in my hair for 3-5 minutes I see such a massive difference when I leave it. A couple weeks back I left it in my hair for 10 minutes and when my hair was all dry the blonde highlights had a purple tint to it, so it's strong stuff and I love it. The second Conditioner I use is a deep conditioner/mask and it's the Osmo Intensive Deep Repair Mask, when I use this my hair honestly feels like new hair, it's all so smooth and nourished and really makes a difference to my hair. I haven't used a deep conditioner/mask for a few months so my hair is really enjoying this product.

That's all the products for washing my hair, now for the products I use after. After my hair has air dried for a little while I then use Osmo Effects Wonder 10 Leave-In Treatment and this makes my hair so much more manageable when it comes to brushing my hair, especially that first brush after my hair is washed, my hair is a nightmare but this product helps my brush glide through. After the leave-in treatment, I then like to go in with the Moroccan Oil Treatment to nourish my ends and make my hair looks shiny and healthy, even though my hair is in great condition for being bleached. I like to take care of my hair. I also have the Moroccan Oil Blow-Dry Concentrate, this is a new product and I haven't used it yet as I rarely ever blow-dry my hair or use heat on my hair so I have yet to try this. Maybe I could do a review when I do if you're interested let me know in the comments below.

That's all the products I use when washing and to care for my hair after washing, the last product is a heat protection for when I do use heat and the one I use at the moment is the GHD Heat Protect Spray and that is every product. I don't use anything else when I style my hair even hairspray, my hair doesn't need it and I hate the feel of hair with hairspray.

My hair is my baby, I use minimal heat on my hair such as only occasions and events is when I'd use them which I'm a homebody so that's not a lot haha. I also only wash my hair once a week! Yes one day a week, and that's always a Saturday. Everyone gasps when I tell them that, it's not dirty, my hair never smells or looks extremely dirty and it doesn't get greasy that much as my hair is trained now to go that long. At first, when I tried to space out my hair washes my hair did look very greasy but after a while, my hair got used to it. And besides I work in a kitchen and with children so my hair has to be up during the weekdays no matter what so that helps with going so long between washes. I must mention the brush I use as that too is new and I'm in love with it, it glides through my hair and makes it feel so soft and smooth and that is the Denman Tangle Tamer Ultra Brush, I definitely recommend for people with knotty, long, thick and unmanageable hair.

Phew well done if you got through all that post, it was longer than I anticipated but I wanted to make sure I included everything. I hoped you like it, and hopefully, you found some products you'd like to try! I couldn't recommend them all to you enough! Let me know in the comments below or on my social medias links below if you tried any of the products mentions. Thank You. MWAH!

Hi! Hello! I'm back! Where have I been?

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world.

Long time no post! Do you remember me? Probably not, my blog didn't really have much interaction from viewers to be remembered. So hey, hello... my name's Lauren, I'm 22 will be 23 next month (November 18th) I mostly blog about make-up, hair and with with a little lifestyle thrown in there. They're my interests and what I love to blog about.

Now let me get to why I stopped blogging for almost 16 months, not that I had much reason to stop. I stopped as work took over pretty much everyday, I was a barmaid in a pub 6 days a week and I'd also clean the pub every morning 6 days a week and some weeks that meant I didn't have one day off which took its toll on me. I literally felt so stressed, fed up and unhappy and all I wanted to do when I did have free time was relax or go out with my boyfriend as like I said I didn't get much free time. So I put blogging on hold while I searched for a job, one which was 9-5 weekday job so I could finally have weekends free to enjoy and to start blogging again.

In April this year I did finally get a new job, at a children's nursery as their cook which I'm enjoying but being in a kitchen with time limits to keep up with can be stressful but I deal with it. I do the washing and drying of blankets, aprons for dinner etc. I make their AM and PM snacks, set up and dish up their lunch (A catering company cooks and delivers the lunch) Clean everything up after lunch, and after that's all done I prepare and cook their tea, it never stops haha!

But anyway even though I've been at this new job for 6 months now, I've only now just started to get back to blogging... I think for that while I was just enjoying having my evenings and weekends back as my previous jobs have been awful shift work that were taking away my evenings and weekends. Now I'm back, ready with a few posts written and scheduled and have future post ideas written down!

I will be posting on Tuesday's, Thursday's and the occasional Sunday at 6pm, the same as my blogging schedule before this hiatus. My first blog post will be Thursday (13th Oct) at 6pm and it's The Autumn Tag 2016, it's already done and scheduled for posting. I had fun doing it and I hope you like it. Please feel free to leave comments below with any feedback or questions or contact me on my social media if you'd like to chat. Thank you. MWAH.

Beauty Haul

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. I have a little haul for you today with a few bits I needed and a few I didn't but I thought I'd deserved to treat myself.

As I've recently had my hair dyed a colorful vibrant color and as my shampoo and conditioner was running out I thought I needed to buy new ones, this time I went for L'Oréal Paris Hair Expertise EverPure Color Care & Moisture Shampoo And Conditioner to try out, see how long and if it pro-longs the color in my hair. Next is the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque, I'm always on the look out for trying masques out so I picked this up. The last couple of hair products I bought are hair oils, Superdrug own brand Hair Therapy Oil With Coconut and a Macadamia one, once again I love trying out different hair oils so I thought I'd give these a try.

The last 2 products of my haul are eye shadow palettes, I've been obsessed with shadows and palettes lately so I need to build my collection. Since this palette come out I've been humming and arring over whether to get it or not but I caved and that is the L'Oréal Paris Color Riche La Palette Nude Rose, I love L'oréal products so I'm excited for this so stay tuned for a review and tutorials I'm sure. The next palette is the Sleek iDivine Ultra Mattes V2 Darks Palette, I just wanted a matte palette that wasn't just basic neutral colors so when I saw this I thought it was perfect. It has a flesh color and a brown to make a basic neutral smokey eye but it also has pops of color that I can't wait to use. So again look out for a review and tutorials with this palette.

I hope you liked this mini haul, usually I have more products in my hauls but my money has been spent on my nieces/God Daughters Christening gifts, an outfit for that occasion and bills so not had much to spare for beauty products, sad face. Also I'm trying out a new technique for my blog pictures, let me know what you think of them.

I DYED MY HAIR?!

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. I had my hair dyed from my hairdresser aka my lovely sister-in-law Sunday evening and I thought it would be nice to show you my new color in a blog post. The cover picture is not the actual hair color, it's been saturated on Photoshop so it's gone black. ;)

When I feel like changing my hair color it usually is a quick and random choice, like suddenly I think or I'll see a color and that's it, my head is set on that color and I'm straight onto telling my sister-in-law. It literally goes in the same pattern as neutral, pop of color, neutral, pop of color. So I'm a brunette, then I feel like going an actual color like red, purple etc. then after a while I'll go back to being a brunette.

The first picture you see is not me it's an image on Google I found that is the inspiration for my hair color, in the pictures of my hair it looks more red toned than purple but in person my hair has more purple tones than you can see on the picture and I think my hair looks very close to the picture I chose for inspiration. When the spring and summer months come I tend to change up my hair color a little more exciting than brunette, I don't intend for this to happen it's just the timing I'm like oooo I fancy a hair change haha.

I hope you liked this post. I'd love to know what you think about my drastic hair change, or if you have any questions on my hair, hair color like what was used to get this color and the process etc. feel free to leave questions in the comments below of on my social media links.

My Hair Care Routine

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day wherever you are in the world. Today's post is about my hair and what I use and do to care for my hair. (The cover picture is my hair in it's natural air dried texture. Wavy straight, I always leave it like this I like it. I also think my hair looks dry in these photo's but I can assure you my hair is not dry, I think it's the blonde highlights as there are lots of them but they're little.)

First off I'll start with the products I use, from when I wash my hair to when it's wet and dry. I switch my shampoos and conditioners probably every few months. And usually I'll alternate between 2 shampoos and conditioners at any one time so currently I use is the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full For Color-Treated Hair Shampoo and Conditioner most of the time and when I feel like my hair and scalp needs a good cleanse I use the Aussie Mega Shampoo and the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Conditioner. For a deep conditioner which I pretty much use every time I wash my hair is the John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner. I try to wash my hair only 2 times a week as the natural oils are good for keeping your hair healthier and hydrated. You may think that's gross but once your hair is trained this way it won't get that much greasy and will last longer. Usually I will use the Floral Batiste Dry Shampoo after the second day from washing my hair to help soak up any oils my scalp it producing.

After I get out of the bath from washing my hair I let it air dry for half hour and then I will use the Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-In Spray on the bottom half of my hair to help de-tangle it as my hair is quite long and is a nightmare to brush without using it. Then I use the John Frieda Full Repair Repairing Oil Elixir on the bottom half of my hair to tame fly away's and give my ends so hydration.

When I feel like my hair needs some TLC and a pick-me-up I will melt some coconut oil in the palms of my hands and smother my scalp and hair top-to-bottom in it and leave it in for as long as I can, the shortest time being half hour. I try to do this weekly and it does my hair wonders, coconut oil is a miracle oil and can be bought in many Supermarkets, drugstores and health stores. I have a whole Blog post on coconut oil that will be posted soon.

As for styling my hair I rarely ever use heat, I like my natural hair and don't find it necessary to use heat all the time. I let my hair air dry, even if I'm in a rush for work or something like that. I will use heat if I'm going on a night out to the pubs/clubs/parties or occasions like Wedding's/Christening's/Birthday Parties etc. In those cases I will always wash my hair on the day and try to get it to air dry, then I'll use my Gold GHD straighteners to either curl or straighten my hair.

So that's everything I do to care and style my hair, I hope you liked this post.. even though I don't do nothing exciting to my hair as I like to be as natural and good to my hair as possible so it would grow healthy and long. If you'd like me to make a post on hair care tips for long, healthy, strong hair then leave comments below or on my social media. And the same if you'd like me to do certain hair style tutorials, or ones I typically do to my hair. Thank you.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're all well and are having a good day. As you can see by the title it's a 1st birthday for someone/something... and that is THIS BLOG! Yesterday marked a year since I created this blog and published my first ever post! I can't even believe I'm still blogging to be honest, my attention span is the size of a child still, I find it hard to stick to doing things but I wanted for so long to be apart of the beauty community after years of watching beauty Youtubers, yet I knew I wouldn't be able to film videos of myself because I'm too shy so blogging was the choice for me.

I love blogging, it's an amazing feeling after each blog post I create and publish, as that's my own work and effort and when I see people viewing them I get a fuzzy feeling inside of happiness. Even though my views are only double figures it's still amazing to me, everyone starts somewhere, we all experience the same stages at the start.

The things that have been highlights for me in the first year of blogging are being apart of the #BloggersDoItBetter Challenges, they were great. We'd get a topic from the creator of the challenge and we'd do a blog post about that topic, it happened once a fortnight (two weeks). I had amazing feedback on all my posts I did during this challenge, like they were literally the only posts I had comments on. This post was my most successful I'd say. But as you may or may not know I stopped blogging for some months due to being lazy and lack of inspiration and when I did begin blogging again I didn't see any more challenges for the #BloggersDoItBetter. And another highlight was reaching 50 Bloglovin' followers, I know to some people this may seem a pathetic amount but to me it's amazing and I thank everyone who follows my blog and views it.

I have some things I'd like to accomplish for my next year of blogging.

  • Communicate with more bloggers. I don't really do that currently because I think I'd be ignored or something but I'm going to get out there and talk to as many as I can, comment on their posts, and make friends.
  • I want to be apart of another group/challenge like I was with #BloggersDoItBetter, it was a great experience to be apart of and it made me feel more apart of the blogging community.
  • Literally be more organised with my posts, like have set days where I'll sit down and write posts, any idea I get for posts I'll write down the moment I think of it, try to post so it goes in order like beauty post, hair post, lifestyle post then tag post. If you get what I mean, a routine.. I have a posting routine for the days I post but not any set topics it's all random.
  • Be more brave and make tutorial posts of make-up looks and hairstyles. I'm going to experiment more on make-up looks and hairstyles than just sticking to my usual ones so I have more and better content for you.
  • Reach 100 Bloglovin' followers, omg that would be so amazing to me!
  • Re-design my blog, I've had the same design for a whole year and what I was thinking was redesign my blog for each season so it's goes with it like the color scheme.
  • Branch out and try more and different products so I have better knowledge to make better posts and more of a variety.
  • And my last thing to accomplish would be to just have fun and love what I'm blogging about.

February Favorites | Hair, Beauty & More

Hey my lovelies I hope you're well. So that's it, another month of 2015 over with and now we're already in March the start of Spring. And obviously as it's a new month I have my favorites of the previous month for you.

First up is hair and I love to buy hair products as I like to make sure my hair is as healthy as I can get it for it to grow and look luscious. I bought the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full For Color-Treated Hair Shampoo and John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full For Color-Treated Hair Conditioner as well as the John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner Mask specially for my hair as it's dyed and my hair doesn't have much life to it so I thought I'd give those 3 a whirl and I love them, my hair has been going through a greasy stage for some reason which is probably because of all the crap food I've eaten. But my hair has been lasting a few days without going greasy, it also feels and is looking healthier and my hairs not been as flat as it naturally is.

Also for days when my hair is a little greasy as I'm trying to wash my hair on a Monday and Friday like I did a few months ago before it's greasy stage kicked in, the Batiste Dry Shampoo Floral And Flirty Blush works amazing for my hair, I get the large size as I use this a lot and the smaller one runs out quick. I could never be without this dry shampoo.

Now for make-up, as in a few of my posts I've mentioned this products before and they are the Soap & Glory The Perfect Ten Eyeshadow Palette, No7 Stay Perfect Metallic Eyes Pencil in the purple and brown shades, Benefit Hoola Bronzer and Benefit They're Real Mascara. I love these a lot, I won't go into detail on the palette as I have a review here. The eye pencils are lovely and butter, amazing for blending, I like to put it on my top lid close to my eyelash line and blend them out. Benefits Hoola Bronzer and They're Real Mascara I'm sure you've heard lots about as they are very popular and very good.

I have a few foods I've been enjoying lately, as I'm on a diet which you may know from this post with an explanation to why I am and how. For lunch I've been having bagels with low fat Philidelphia cheese & Salmon or Tuna on top and it's so yummy and perfect for lunch. For a snack I've been really into having a salt and vinegar rice cake as it's only around 40 calories per rice cake. This is strange to put on my favorites but water with fresh lemon is super yummy and very healthy for you. It gives a little extra flavoring to water.

And last but not least I can't forget to add my camera into my favorites, it's my first proper camera but I've been loving it, I think it does just the job for the time being for this blog and it is the Sony Alpha a5000 Compact System Camera with 16-50 mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Zoom Lens in Black. I have a post on it here.

So that's all my favorites this month, I hope you liked. If you want to know what music I've been into for the month then I have a post here if you'd like to check it out. Thank you.

I usually browse the movie channels first to see if there are any of my faves on but if not I like to watch either TLC, E! Entertainment or Health & Home Channels. Also I watch my YouTube subscriptions with the TV in the background. I'm not reading anything at the moment, so for reading it would be my Bloglovin' feed.

Current favorite candle?
Christmas Cookie Yankee Candle.

Do you ever have outdoor me-time?
In the summer time yes, I'd go for a walk in the banks and fields where I live.

Hair Refresh

Finally after 4 months I got my hair done! I had it the same as I did before, it just needed a refresh. I had lots of thin bleach highlights with the rest of my hair a medium brown and my terrible ends trimmed. My brother's girlfriend did my hair and always does my hair. She's a fully qualified hairdresser and works in a hair salon but she comes to my parents house to do my hair and it's also very cheaper than getting your hair done in an actual salon. I've never had my hair done in a salon, but I've always had fully qualified hairdressers touch my hair. I've literally not paid over £25 for my hair to be dyed any color or any amount of colors and styles.

The left side is my hair now it's re-dyed & the right is before I had it re-dyed.

Drugstore Haul #4

Here I am back with another drugstore haul, I just can't help myself I have to have a browse in Boots and Superdrug every pay day and end up buying stuff I want and need even though I know I wouldn't use some of it on an everyday basis. This is a collective haul over the last couple months, they weren't all bought in one shopping spree.

First up is the two skin care products I bought. The Bioré Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser I saw on LaurDIY's Night Routine video and it got me interested as I need a good face cleanser and she said many good things about it so I look up reviews of it online and came across so many good ones and decided I was going to try it out. I'll do a review on this product once I've used it for a while. The last product is Nivea Creme Moisturizer which is used for your face and body. My nan and mum have used this since they were young girls, it's always been their top and most used moisturizer, they swear by it. My nan is 82 years old and looking at her face she looks like she's in her 60's, I'm not exaggerating. She's always had people say to her she looks young and well for her age which she says it's thanks to using Nivea everyday since she was around 18. So I've grown up with using this moisturizer and I've always loved it, it's so moisturizing and kind to skin, I use it for my face, neck and to remove my eye make-up (it works so well for that by the way) I've not discovered any other moisturizer better than this, that's why I'm always going back to this one and with the cold months well and truly arrived I thought I'd best buy this well loved baby.

Hair products are next, which is my favorite topic! My local Boots store has recently finally got all the OGX Hair products so that got me super excited and immediately wanting to try another shampoo, conditioner and oil. As I love the wonder fruit/nut/seed that is coconut with all the good benefits it has for hair I thought it would be rude if I didn't try either the Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner or the Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner first. I went for the Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner simply because what is said on the bottle drew me more to it. Then I got the Thick And Full Biotin And Collagen Weightless Reviving Oil Treatment as I know biotin is a supplement that many people including me use it for hair growth so I wanted to give it a try and the oil and serum I'm currently using for my hair just isn't cutting it.

Now for the make-up portion of this haul. First up is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge also known as the beauty blender, I've seen countless of good reviews on this and after stopping myself buying it for months I decided to bite the bullet and buy it to try. I don't use foundation on a daily basis simply because I'm lazy and my skin isn't too terrible but after seeing many reviews once again on the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation I wanted to give it a try, I got it in the shade 52 Vanille. The next product I just come across it while looking for another product, I wanted an actual contour shade instead of using bronzer to contour as that wasn't really working out so I saw the Seventeen Define And Conquer Kit and thought I'd give it a try in the shade fair as that was the only shade they had in stock.

Again to go with the contour topic I went in Boots to specifically buy the Natural Collection Solo Eye shadow in the shade Crushed Walnut. Yes I know it's an eye shadow but Kaushal Beauty uses it for contour always talks about how amazing it is for that and I've also seen people using it for their eyebrows. So this product is a multi purpose one and I will be using it for contour, eye shadow and try it out on my brows to see if the shade is a match. And while I was getting that eye shadow I come across the Natural Collection Duo Eye Shadow in the shade Mocha And Latte which are a matte dark brown and champagne shade, I thought it would be perfect for an everyday eye look. The champagne shade for inner eye highlight, and all over the lid color and the brown for the crease.

The last four for this haul are lip products. I was really wanting a nice dark purple look, so I was looking in Superdrug for a certain lipstick that Amelia Liana used in her Day To Night Routine video which is the Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade Dark Night Water - Oops but they didn't sell it in my local Superdrug store so I looked at what they did have and found the perfect one which is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in the shade 663 Va Va Violet, I also wanted a lip pencil to go with it and found the Barry M Lip Liner in the shade 11 Plum the two go together like a dream. I also got another lip look which is another purple one but more of a muted look than the other one. The lipstick is Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in the shade 18 Violin Strass and the liner is the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner in the shade 064 Obsession.

I hope you enjoyed this post, if you want me to review any of the products after I've had enough time using them then feel free to leave me a comment of the ones you want me to review or contact me on any of my social media sites that are linked at the end of every post and the top right of my blog. Hair Update!

So as the title states, this post is a hair update, not an update on the growth of my hair from the Operation Healthy Long Locks project I started. The update on my hair is the color! Since I had strayed from my blog about 5 month ago, you last saw my hair was Ombré and then I took the blonde higher up my hair so it was 75% blonde and 25% my natural hair color which is at my roots. Many would say my hair wasn't much Ombré as there wasn't much of a gradient section as usual Ombré but there was a little so it looked blended and not just a clear line from brown to blonde.

I've always been anti-bleach in my hair because I want and strive for my hair to be as healthy as can be and grown much longer, with your hair bleached it can do a lot of damage. But I thought what the heck and as cheesy as this is, it's true "you only live once!" I loved having Ombré but I wanted more blonde than I originally did have, and so I went 75% blonde. It worked for me because it sort of was a way of me being a blonde head but not to the roots as I'm originally brunette so the growth back would be horrendous and I'm not about the life of getting my hair re-dyed every 6 weeks, that is too much. So I opted for it to be so I can leave it for months without need to get it re-dyed which is what I liked about it.

But at the beginning of September I'd had enough of all that blonde, my boyfriend, family and friends told me many times within those short 4 months of having my hair like that, they thought it was awful and they hated it. I ended up hating it myself but it was different for me, the only option for me was to go back brunette. Well I still have blonde in my hair, I had lots of small highlights throughout all of my hair and a light brown all over and I love it. Also I had a trim because obviously with the blonde I had, it did make my ends a little damaged and now it feels, looks and is so much more healthy. I definitely will be keeping my hair like this for a fair long while this time, my hair needs and deserves a rest.

(Top left is my original ombré, top right is the first of more blonde application. Second left is second and last application of blonde as well as second right. The last third row is my hair a couple days after I had my hair dyed with highlights and the last two picture's are my hair now, over a month onwards.)

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked this post. Did you like my hair Ombré, mostly blonde or brunette with highlights? Feel free to leave comments about my hair and all my social media's are linked at the bottom of this post as every post.
