The Beauty Scenario Tag

You have to get rid of all your foundations and only keep one high end and one drugstore. Which ones do you keep?
I've only ever tried 1 high end foundation as of now, but the 1 I do have I love and it's my all-time favorite and that is the Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation as for drugstore I love the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum.

You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you had lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject of ignore it completely?
I would ignore it completely, I would only mention something like that to friends or family because it wouldn't be embarrassing but if a stranger said it then I think it is embarrassing.

You're not feeling yourself and you need a pick-me-up lipstick which do you go for?
Rebel by Mac or Berry Couture Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick.

You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and/or make-up differently?
My hair was fine but I'd use heat protect spray and use less heat as it wasn't necessary. And as for make up I wouldn't really do anything differently as my foundation did actually match my skin (a rarity for teenagers) and I did my mascara and eyeliner the same as I do now.

You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut but they hear wrong and give you a pixie cut, what do you do?
A) Smile, say thank you and call your mum and cry hysterically?
B) Cry in the chair and things get awkward?
C) Complain to the manager and demand a refund?
I'm too shy to mention it to the hairdresser or cry in the salon. I'd leave the salon and cry to my mum and probably never trust anyone near my hair again. But my hairdresser is my brother's girlfriend and she does exactly what I want.

Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have one hour to pack, which 'do it all' palette, do you pack in your make-up bag?
I don't own many palettes but my collection will be growing this year. I'd choose the Soap & Glory The Perfect Ten Palette. I did a review on it here.
Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
Omg I have more than 1 I hoped would be safe which are Benefit Hoola bronzer, They're Real Mascara, The Porefessional, Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation and Mac Rebel Lipstick, Soap and Glory The Perfect Ten Palette.. yep my high end make-up.

Your friend borrows make-up and returns it in an awful condition. Do you:
A) Pretend you haven't noticed.
B) Ask them to re-purchase it.
C) Secretly do it back to their make-up.
I wouldn't do either, I'd tell them about it to see if they have any reason for it and then tell them nicely to not do it again as I wouldn't do it to their make-up. After all if they're your friend you shouldn't be too scared to not tell them or be so cheeky to get them to buy a new one for me.

I hope you liked this tag, I thought it was a fun one to do as it was a beauty related one. Feel free to leave answers to this tag in my comment box if you don't have a blog or make a post with it and leave a link for me to look at yours. Thank you.

My Favorite YouTubers

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're well. Today's post is going to be telling you of my favorite YouTubers! I've been watching YouTube since about 2008/2009, I was 14-16 in this period so obviously I was just getting into wanting to take care about my appearance by wearing make-up, using heat tools on my hair and some what caring what I wear each day.

First up is my all time favorite Youtuber that is a lot of other people's favorites as this person has 7+ million subscribers and that is Zoe Sugg known as Zoella in the YouTube and Blog world. I've been watching her literally since she started YouTuber in late 2009 where she always posted Primark Hauls, she loved a but of Primark back then. It's been amazing watching her come this far over the years and I've loved being apart of it. She's such a lovely hard working person that has achieved so much in her life it's so inspiring and uplifting to watch which makes her such a great role model and inspiration for young girls.

Next up is another YouTuber that I've watched for years since 2010 and that's Meghan Rienks, formally known as Meghan Rosette. She really hasn't changed a bit through all her success, she's still that bubbly and nutty girl she was when she begun YouTube. I love her personality, she's so fun and I never bore from her videos her attitude is so fresh to watch, I also love her Vlog channel as well. I love watching her latest Vlogmas where she got her nose job which has the name Olivia (I love that name!)

Away from the beauty scene a moment I have the SacconeJoly's, oh my I love this family they're so fun and warming to watch. It's amazing watching Emilia and Eduardo grow as well as Anna and Johnathon's love. I will be honest, I only started watch them last year when Zoe kept going on about watching them. So I;m always on the look out for new YouTubers and had to check them out and been hooked since.

Back to beauty again and I have Tess Christine, I love her videos especially her Get The Looks, she does them so well and spot on, and also her Get Healthy With Me series is one on my favorites as I'm trying to become healthy and she has amazing content on that. I've been watching her a few years now and she's one that's always consistent with her videos and works so hard on them, you can clearly see when you watch them. I love her personality, she's so kind and bubbly it's nice to watch

Lately I've been loving Australia YouTubers, no reason why I just found a couple that I love watching and they are Shani Grimmond and Danielle Mansutti. I've been watching Shani over a year now and she's so entertaining to watch. She does amazing tutorials from all different looks but she's not acting like a teacher per say in the tutorials, her personality shines through them and I find her hilarious, she always acts goofy and it's refreshing to watch. I discovered Dani only at the beginning of the year and already she's one of my favorites, she only started YouTube last year so I weren't to late coming across her channel. She's spoke a lot about her life in the past how she's always been bullied and that she was originally from the UK and moved to Australia years ago. She's so timid but her personality is lovely and each video she puts up she's becoming more and more confident and I love watching that. She also does lovely tutorials covering various looks which is nice to see.

Last up I got ThatcherJoe, yep the brother of Zoella. I've been watching him literally since he put up his first video in 2012 because he'd been in some of Zoe's videos and he made me laugh so when Zoe said he'd created a channel I was straight over there subscribing. I love his videos with Zoe, his accent videos, impressions and innuendo bingo the most. He is hilarious and hasn't changed at all though the whole time he's been on YouTube.

They're my favorites that I wanted to tell you about but I watch many many more YouTubers which I'm going to name for you. (Alphabetical Order from sub list) AlishaMarie, AllieMarieEvans, Amber Fillerup, Amelia Liana, Andrea's Choice, Anna Saccone, Annie Jaffrey, AprilAthena7, Arden Rose, Aspyn Ovard, Ava Allan, BeautyCrush, Beautyklove, BeautyLiciousInsider, BeautyTakenIn, Bethany Mota, BubzBeauty, Caitlin Bea, Cambria Joy, Carly Bybel, Casey Holmes, Caspar, Chloe Morello, Chloe Szepanowski, CiaooBelllaxo, Claudia Sulewski, Dulce Candy, Emily-Victoria Canham, Essie Button, Fleur DeForce, Gabriella Lindey, Gigi Gorgeous, Glitteralittle, iheartmakeup92, ilikeweylie, Ingrid Nilsen, Jackie Wyers, JLovesMac1, Kacey Laine, Kalyn Nicholson, Karissa Pukas, Kaushal Beauty, Kayley Melissa, Kingsley, Krazyrayray, LaurDIY, Lauren Curtis, Lauren Elizabeth, Lindsey Hughes, Lisa Pullano, Luxy Hair, MakeupByMandy24, MakeupByTiffanyD, MamaMiaMakeup, Marcus Butler, Marissa Lace, MayBaby, Melissa Merk, Michelle Phan, Miss Budget Beauty, MissTiffanyMa, MszJackieChu, mylifeasava, Nicole Guerriero, Niki and Gabi, Nikki Phillippi, PixieWoo, PointlessBlog, Rachel Talbott, RachLoves, Sam, Sarah Belle, Sara Fit, Shaaanxo, SierraMarieMakeup, SMLx0, SprinkleOfGlitter, StilaBabe09, Tanya Burr, Tara Michelle, thatMISSYgirl7, themaddiebruce, Vivian Vo-Farmer, Vivianna Does Makeup, xxoLeeny

My Perfume Collection

Hey my lovelies I hope you're all well and are having a good day. So today I've got my perfume collection for you. For some the amount I have from the cover picture it would be a lot and to some others it would be only a little amount but I think I have the right amount which is 6 different perfumes and 2 that I have doubles of.

First off I've got my all time favorite perfume which is the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh, I first got this for my 20th birthday from my boyfriend we had only been together for just under 2 months so he bought me that in a set with the body lotion and shower gel so it cost him £50-£55 and I thought that was a sensible amount for my present and only being early on in our relationship. I never used to be too keen on spending over £30 for a perfume I didn't see the point but now I would spend over that amount especially for this one. It smells like one of my very favorite sweets which is Parma Violets and violet is in the heart notes so that explains why it smells like that. I love it and think it's more of a spring and summer perfume but I wear it all year round. I have 2 bottles of this, one is almost empty and that is the very one I got from my boyfriend back in November 2013 and then I got a new one from him for Christmas. You can't not get your partner perfume/aftershave for Christmas, they always have to be one of the gifts for/from me they're essential.

Next I have my second favorite perfume which is Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, I bought this because my brother's girlfriend wears this a lot of the time and I loved the smell so I had to get it which was over a year ago. It has a very fruity floral smell to it as it has many fruits and flower scents in the notes. I actually discovered that it has a few of the same note ingredients in it as the Daisy Eau So Fresh but this one has no violet and is more of the vanilla side. When I smell this perfume it reminds me of going to the pubs and clubs as this is what I usually wear out for those occasions, I also think it's a perfume for all year round suited to all seasons.

Thirdly is obviously my third favorite which is Britney Spears Fantasy, I've re-bought this perfume for the longest time out of any perfume it was basically my first one I'd had for myself. My mum always has bought this for herself and I'd always use it until I finally got myself one. It smells very musky, woody with Jasmine which is was are in the notes with Jasmine petals being a heart note. I think this perfume is a seductive kind of intimate perfume if you get what I mean, more for going out occasions. I have 2 bottles of this which is the pink one with gems and the orange one which is the very same scent just in the stage limited edition bottle.

Fourth is Justin Bieber The Key, I've loved Justin since 2009 so obviously I'm a supportive fan or Belieber if you want to call me that (Yes I used to be a typical fan girl stalking his every move, but I've grown up now) so I bought all his perfumes he released which are Someday, Girlfriend and The Key. The one I currently have isn't my favorite out of his, I got it for Christmas from my mum. My favorite is Girlfriend but I love all 3 that he has. This perfume is again a fruity floral one, I find it's a perfume good for everyday use but I don't find the lasting power on this is that good, I can't smell it at the end of the day like my other perfume.

Fifth is Juicy Couture, Couture Couture and yes there are meant to be 3 Couture's it's not a type haha. I got this for Christmas 2013 from my brother and his girlfriend. I find this scent to be a grown up one, as it's not a fruity smell it's floral oriental, I think it's a perfume for those sophisticated grown up times for meetings and work but it is nice for everyday wear too. The scents that stick out for me are the Jasmine and Sandalwood in it which again Jasmine is the heart note.

Sixth is Britney Spears Curious, yep I think Britney Spears has lovely perfumes. I got this for my 21st birthday which was this passed November from my Boyfriend's mum. I think the scent of this is similar to the Juicy Couture one but a little more suited to teens, it has no Jasmine in it but it does have Sandalwood which makes them smell a little similar but this one has Vanilla Musk in it's heart notes that is very noticeable. It is more of a musky fruity perfume and great for everyday wear and all seasons.

I hope you liked this post, I'm sorry if my descriptions for the perfumes are awful but I'm not experienced at all for explain scents, these are just what I pick up on and think. If you like any of these perfumes let me know in the comments below or on my social media.. or have any recommendations for me then also let me know, I'm open to new perfumes to try out. Mwah.

February Playlist

Hey lovelies, I hope you had a lovely Valentines Day whether or not you have a partner or not, it's a day of love so it's for anyone who you love such as your parents, other family members, friends and partners. Unfortunately I had a lovely 9 hour shift from 2pm - 11pm so I never got to do anything with my boyfriend.

Today's post I have for you is my monthly playlist of what I've been listening to the passed month, these posts will be posted every mid-month so around the 15th.

One Direction - Where Do Broken Hearts Go
One Direction - Fireproof
One Direction - Stockholm Syndrome
Ariana Grande - Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart Grammy's Live Performance
Alex and Sierra - Little Do You Know
Ed Sheeran - Photograph
Clean Bandit & Jess Glyne - Real Love

I haven't been listening to much variety of music lately, just these sames songs over and over again. As you can see I've been loving One Direction's most recent album, I think it's a good album not like their previous ones this one seems more grown up and mature which is why I like many songs and may be converting to being a fan... I blame my older brother for this, he literally plays their album on repeat in his car along with Ed Sheeran's Multiply which is when I heard Photograph. I thought Ariana did a flawless job with her performance at the Grammy's it was very classy and she looked beautiful. Feel free to leave a comment on this post or on any of my social medias of your current favorite songs, artists and bands.

Soap & Glory The Perfect Ten Palette Review & Swatches

Hey my lovelies, hope you're all well. Today I have got a review for you, and yes it is one of the many natural nude palettes in the make-up world. This one is from Soap & Glory as you already know from the title and cover picture. This palette has 10 nude-bronze shades. 3 shades are matte which are Vanilla, Pink T and Black Gold and the other 7 Minky, Aubersheen, Gold Coast, Taupe Cat, Sunset, Brownie and Smokin' are shimmers. I'd say this palette is perfect for beginners or for a starter kit and I'd say a good dupe for the Urban Decay Naked palettes. Vanilla, Pink T and Aubersheen are in the What's Nude Lid Stuff Quad. Black Gold and Smokin' are in the Smokey Dokey Lid Stuff Quad. Minky is in the Off The Wallflowers Lid Stuff Quad and Taupe Cat is in the Glamour Push Gift Set. I believe that Gold Coast, Sunset and Brownie are new shades specially for this palette, I'm not 100% so don't quote me on that. I am in love with this palette, all the shades are perfect for everyday wear and you can make multiple eye looks. The shadows themselves are very smooth, creamy, blendable and pigmented. I got this for Christmas from my boyfriend, I of course picked it out and it was an affordable price of £16 I think it's definitely worth the price but it is limited edition and I can't find it on the Boots and Soap & Glory websites so it may have stopped being sold but you may be able to find it on Ebay or sites like that. Below are up close pictures of the shadows and I swatched them for you.

I hope you liked this review and if you can't get your hands on the full palette then I would recommend you getting the 3 Lid Stuff palettes with all but 3 of the shades from this palette. Be sure to leave any questions you have in the comments below or on my social media's. Thank you.

Hair Refresh

Finally after 4 months I got my hair done! I had it the same as I did before, it just needed a refresh. I had lots of thin bleach highlights with the rest of my hair a medium brown and my terrible ends trimmed. My brother's girlfriend did my hair and always does my hair. She's a fully qualified hairdresser and works in a hair salon but she comes to my parents house to do my hair and it's also very cheaper than getting your hair done in an actual salon. I've never had my hair done in a salon, but I've always had fully qualified hairdressers touch my hair. I've literally not paid over £25 for my hair to be dyed any color or any amount of colors and styles.

The left side is my hair now it's re-dyed & the right is before I had it re-dyed.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara First Impressions Review

Hey my lovelies, I hope you're well. Today I have for you a very exciting review of the long awaited new mascara from Benefit the 'Roller Lash'

Benefit have teamed up with ELLE UK for the March issue of the magazine with a sample of the Roller Lash, with the magazine being £4 I found this an opportunity not to miss out on as I love They're Real Mascara and the promotion of this new mascara got me needing to try it.

It's said to be super-curling and lifting for your lashes with it's hook'n'roll brush, and has a snappy slogan #CurlsBestFriend. This mascara has been in development for 4 years so it hasn't been rushed and just chucked in the shops, Benefit have spent a lot of time on this mascara to make it perfect and different. It's supposed to give your lashes a soft, girly, eye-opening effect and put a stop to curling your lashes with those horrid and harsh may I add eyelash curlers, I don't like those things. And is a light-weight formula to keep your lashes curled for 12 hours.

97% said it visibly lifts lashes
87% said it gives long-lasting curl
94% said eyes look more wide open

Now to my opinion I've worn it a couple times, I love the brush it grips onto my lashes very well and I think it does lift my eyelashes, gives them a slight curl and lengthens them quite a bit, I did put a couple coats on to test if it's easy to work and build able, I found it did build up nicely and the brush separates the lashes nicely. As for it's staying power, after a day at work it was still intact and visible on my lashes but they was a little bit of black product smudged under my eyes, which is one of the only drawbacks about the mascara for me. I would recommend this for you girls that have short and stubby eyelashes to give it a try, my lashes aren't short I'm quite lucky that my lashes are naturally a little long. So Benefit it's another thumbs up for me from your products.

The 'Roller Lash' mascara will hit stores in the UK on the 27th February so it's this month. If your not sure whether you want to spend £19.50 on this mascara then go buy ELLE magazine NOW for the sample, hurry because I'd imagine the magazine to sell out like hot cakes!
